Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Wear your comfortable everyday clothing, including your shoes. You can remove your shoes once you are comfortably seated if you wish. There is no need to wear white socks because, unlike others, our floors aren't decorated with salt.
What should I expect in the salt cave?
Most people feel incredibly relaxed but some feel completely invigorated during their visit. You will be comfortably seated in a zero gravity chair with one of our cozy signature cotton muslin blankets. Relaxing spa music will be playing and should you stay awake, you can watch the beautiful Northern Lights dance upon the sky of our Mountain View mural. During your 25 minute session you are welcome to practice meditation and breath work, or you can nap or sit quietly.
Is your facility handicapped accessible?
Our location is fully ADA compliant and is accessible to all abilities. We have solid surface floors completely free of the decorative salt found in many salt caves. This was extremely important to me as my own sister has been in a wheelchair since she was nine years old. Our chairs can be easily removed so that you can remain in your wheelchair, if necessary. From the parking lot, to the restroom, to our service areas, you will find it easy to navigate the space no matter your physical limitations.
Can I take food or drinks in the salt cave?
Food is not welcome. However, it is important for you to remain hydrated so we welcome you to bring a bottle of water into the salt therapy treatment areas. You will be offered water in our lobby before and after your session.
Will my session be private?
Both our Halotherapy Salt Cave and Salt Lounge seat four people comfortably. You may be sharing a session with other people, unless you or your party has reserved every chair. Private sessions are available. Please call us for more information.
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are welcome! Our 25 minute sessions are perfect for them. Babies as young as 4 weeks of age can greatly benefit from our Halotherapy. If your child can sit quietly, they can visit at any time. For younger children or children who may not be able to sit quietly please call so we can arrange a session just for you and your family.
Can I come if I'm not feeling well?
Our services work best when you visit us regularly to prevent illness. But, should you get an ear or sinus infection or your allergies or asthma flare up, Halotherapy can help provide great relief. *Please cancel your appointment without penalty if you have had a fever within 24 hours of your visit.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can request a refund if you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel less than 48 hours prior, we would be happy to reschedule your appointment or provide a credit for a future visit.
